The rate at which new internet cafes are opening up did suprise me , Till I decided to investigate personally . I ve Visited numerous number of cafes , majorly in Sharjah as a part of my investigation to find out what actually happens at this cafes

Many of the cafes in the busy area of Sharjah , are owned by Pakistanis . This cafes are usually cool about smoking indoors . Too many smokers , Not too much space , leads to smoky atmosphere and which inturn leads to secondary smoking which is far too dangerous . Especially for the minors who visit the cafes to play Games .

Excessive Usage of VOIP . I ve seen cafes who are sustaining their business only due to their VOIP sales . you see a huge crowd of labour class people in the cafe talking to their loved ones back in their country.They Charge 1dhs per minute or They Sell VOIP cards. , which theese people later use in the same cafe over a period of time . Like you know , The Stupid TRA has banned VOIP ! If theres a Inspections this folks are in grave shit !

Explicit content . Many cafes offer viewing of explicit content in their cafes . The attendant out their opens some files from the server computer which is accesible by all the network pc . The computers are alligned in such a way that the person gets full privacy . Some cafes even offer personal cabins for complete privacy

Piracy on full swing .The softwares and games used in this cafes are usually Pirated or Cracked ones . Some of the games are even banned in U.A.E ( Grand Theft Auto San Andreas for example ) .I ve seen Cracked Anti viruses , cracked cafe management softwares . I ve seen a lot of pirates shit during this investigation of mine

My major concern when it comes to cafes is about secondary smoking . Smoking indoors should be stopped !
