The whole idea of getting my self this site started 3 years back. I had some friends who were interested in doing all this, they were creative and really talented. Well, but back in school days we had a lot of stuffs to take care of, So our website plan never really came to life.

I started this site . It was my first time. It seems like I always have to learn the hard way but well I learn that is what matters in the end. In the whole process, I came to know the whole thing was way bigger than it seemed. I got to know a lot of webmasters around the world. I also came across people who used to blog from dubai. They were really in ‘there’ just for the fun of it.

Let me confess, I haven’t come across even one webmaster from dubai who is into making websites for the money aspect of it. Looks like no one is into internet marketing on a big scale here.  Come on dubai, there is a lot of money to be made online !

I have tried getting few of my friends into the whole business but seems like they are just too ‘lazy’. Well, its good for me in a way. Lesser the number of webmasters , lesser the competition for me.

Well some times you just want to let go off people who are trying to use you. The only thing they can think is about themselves. Their time is precious, Mine isn’t. I don’t think its justified in any way. They don’t spend money even when they have it and when they don’t , they expect you to spend and promise you to return it later. ( for the record , which they never do )

I think I have had enough of all this and its time to take a tough stand. I seriously miss my old peer group which was much more nicer. I spend today, they spend tomorrow and Some one else spends day after.You know that is how it should work. This may be little things for you ‘grown ups’, but some really tacky issues for us.

I kind of earn the cash, I spend. Its nothing major but Its enough for me alone ( Don’t know, If I had a GF ). Well, I have worked hard this summer, on my webmastering hobby. Made quite a few websites. Few of them are giving return, others are still very promising. I am not talking big money here may be 100-150 $ here , but that is like 300-400 AED , good enough for me.

College is gonna start soon and stuffs ain’t gonna be the same. I probably might be struggling for time again. I don’t know How will my sites do then though. But lets see , I will work out something.

I really don’t know if people still follow me on this blog ( I hope they do 😛 ). Let me be honest people, This blog was started with 2 sole intentions, One was to have my own personal ‘.com’ website ( my dream since 6th standard ) and make money ( which it did ).

Making money online is really not easy, Not like you make something , people will come and click your ads. Its a little more complicated and requires a lot of dedication and hard work. I have come a far way from what I was when I started this site. I know the tricks of the trade, How stuff work. This summer was a productive summer indeed.

Another thing I just realized is, I am still single ( not like I am desperate or something ) . I am shocked on my self, a person like me single for so long. A little unusual. Probably, Making money is more important to me at this point of time.Lets see how it goes….

PS: I really don’t know what was the purpose of this post , I started off with personal problems and then went to the webmaster thing. But if you are reading this , you have probably read the whole thing. Congrats , I just wasted 2 minutes of 1440 minutes of your day . I feel evil buahahah

After a hell lot of drilling and lot of traffic diversion and congestion the high tech wonder, the dubai metro is finally out.It kinda slipped out of my head though today was 9/9/09. I was in the gym ( Geeks work out too , some times 😛 ) and they were streaming it live on the tv. . The Dubai sheik was walking along with other fellows in white kandhuras.

They made him wait till it was 9.09 PM and then he swipes his card and all the media camera’s were flashing *Jig**Jig* ( Not sure if that was the kind of sound , but let it be that way ) . He boards the metro along with other people. The thing that caught my attention was, that a good number of arabs were standing while traveling. I am really thinking, would arabs use metro later? I don’t think so .

Now metro is up and they’ve got all this special buses running to compliment traveling by metro. What does this indicate? they are surely gonna do something to curb the number of passenger vehicles on the road some time soon. They might do it by increasing some registration charges bla bla bla, i am sure they will find something.

Arabs are surely not gonna be affected by this ( they have way too much money and influence to care enough…) . So where does it all come down to ? Yes to us , the expats. I am sure everything is planned and they are just waiting for the right time.
