I have finally hit a phase in my life which I am not really fond of. Its one of those times when you feel you are up to no good. Everything is sluggish and you don’t have the motivation to do what is needed on a day to day basis. All the enthusiasm and zeal has just died off.
I am not really sure of the cause but may be it does have something to do with the routine I am currently in. May be its the extra long working hours to blame and the long commute that follows that. I am really not sure what is it. But the focus in the coming weeks is going to be to get as much work done with as less distraction as possible.
I haven’t really learned anything new in the past 4 to 5 months. I don’t get the time to read neither the opportunity to do anything new. Its a rut.
So What am I going to do about it?
Here:
1)Get some exercise routine going. It doesn’t need to be a work out. All it needs to be is some sort of walk/jog to start with. We can move to more serious stuff later.
2)Read some books. A book along that lines.
3) Learn Excel. Become a Guru. Do what it takes.
I’ll post an update soon about how it all comes togather.
Stay tuned.

It failed. Apparently, drastic changes are not sustainable. Its those baby steps you take every day that make drastic changes sustainable. I haven’t reach my goal but 4 kg lighter after the 30 day challenge.
So the idea is to make gradual changes. Like:
- Walk atleast 5000 Steps ( Based on s4)
- Ditch the Lift.
- Drink More water.
That is the small but concise plan this week and weeks to come. I’ll let you know how it works out.

First week has been hard. All that biryani and fried chicken is taking its toll. I have been eating fairly less and exercising more. Due to less food intake, the energy level is not at its best. But drastic situation requires drastic actions.
I have reduced 2 kgs in the first week. I intend to keep the rate consistent for next weeks. I have been letting the diet slip by a bit due to the weakness. But hopefully, I ll be better when I am occupied at work.
I’ll keep you people updated.

I sit on a computer and press buttons for a living. Urmm, Its a bit more complicated than that but lets no go there. The whole point being there is not much I do physically in a day. This has lead to a positive accumulation of calories and a rapid weight gain. To put things in perspective, I have gained 25 kgs in past 5 years.
Before shit hits the fan real time, I am going to be taking a series of steps to get back to the 5 year old level. I understand its not going to be easy and is going to require a lot of work. The good part is that I am motivated and determined as ever to see this one through. I’ll post a weekly update from here on what happened and how is it coming along.
Plan of action for First week:
1) Go for a walk : 5 days a week for 40 Minutes a day.
2) Eat sprouts for dinner 6 Days / Week.
3) Drink More water.

Lately, I have been involved in a lot of contemplation on where my life is going and what I want to do. Somewhere along the line I have developed a new fear. The fear of getting comfortable with what I have and getting stuck here. The fear of not learning more. The fearing of not living up to what I have set out for myself.
I am stuck in a rut at the moment. I go to work, I come back home & sleep. Rinse and repeat.
To go where I need to, I need to make time.
I’ll be sharing a lot of my plans and decision process in the coming days.
