Things in Dubai have changed a bit in the recent past . By recent past , I mean Past 3-4 months. I really don’t know what sparked all the change , possibly the recession !

Traffic : Believe it or not , It has reduced . I have noticed considerable decrease in the Dubai-Sharjah traffic . The journey that used to take me a hour and half before takes me 20-30 minutes now . isn’t that sweet ?

Buses : The buses are getting better on the frequent high passenger routes , They are introducing new buses which have better comfort and facilities . But if you are on the not so frequent route , you still get those ancient buses which vibrate more than a DILDO* ( Now that is a weird comparison 😛 ) .

Properties : The whole sector has crashed really bad . Property prices are coming down , so are the rents. They will be coming down further , once other projects under development are completed . This depression is only limited to the free hold properties , it is is yet to be noticed in other residential properties . Peta satelit dunia . The rents there are still going up .

People : A good fraction of the population have lost their jobs . I have heard people saying that lot of people are going to leave further during the summer break .It quite works me up , when some one actually loses a job because of recession and has to leave the country .

Slowly but surely , Dubai is going to be a less crowded city . I am going to miss all the crowd for sure .I hope stuffs get back to normal soon.

Why the new blog ?

Basically , the last blogging platform was quite a pain . It was fast but lacked support elements. So I realised it was time to move on .

What Is going to be new here ?

I am going to try to be a little formal this time and avoid and half hearted post that could ruin the reputation of my site . I would try to promote DxB Underground as a brand name this time.

You should probably book mark this site because it is going to be one of those Dubai Portals that derive their content rite from the common public and do not hesitate to show truth the way it is .We wont be talking about sky scrapers here , we will be talking about the reality hidden behind them .
