My vehicle registration recently expired and I had to head to RTA to get the stupid vehicle inspection done. They pointed out my tyres needed replacement. I don’t know much about cars but my dad said they were fine and could do another year. I kind of don’t believe him because the tired has cracks all over. Nevertheless, we got it replaced.
Tires are expensive. Car registration is expensive. Insurance is expensive. Everything is expensive when you don’t make money.
Ok, Enough of the rant. Basically, renew your vehicle now and get 5 sim cards for every transaction. The sim cards come with a pre load of 20 AED. Plus, they give you a coupon to some sort of raffle draw sponsored by ENOC. Do check it out.
5 Free simcards and raffle draw coupon never hurt anyone !
PS: Don’t forget to take your emirates id photo copy.

I have been to plenty of desert safaris in Dubai. As a resident of Dubai I have kind of grown over the whole concept of a safari. I would surely love to try dune bashing with my car though.
I recently read about over night desert safari in Dubai and It was kind of fascinating. I would like to spend my night in the tent under the starlight sky. I would surely do this in the winter as I am no fan of being roasted to sleep. I’ve heard that the deserts and the wadis are spectacular in the winters.
I am planning on getting some off roading gear like tents and lanterns. I am surely looking forward to head to the wadis this December. Lets Hope it works out well.

A 30 day challenge is a pretty nice way to cultivate a good habit. 30 days is just the right time you need to understand if something is for you or not. My first 30 day challenge I realized that blogging everyday was not for me. I would simply run out of things to talk about. This normally doesn’t happen.
But this time, I am going to try a 30 day challenge on a fitness level. I am going to go on a 30 minute walk everyday. A god forbid I miss a day, I ll make up for it on the next day. Very simple but demanding.
I am a manufactured geek. I like to use my brains and fingers to get work done. Not much of the active type. Lets see how this works out. I’ll issue weekly updates to update you people on how its working out.

Well, I did manage to complete the challenge though there were times when I had to make multiple posts a day to catch up on my target. There are a lot of things I noticed during this challenge.
You can actually do what you want to do if you try hard enough. Make and effort and start. Eventually you’ll have momentum on your side and all targets will be achievable.
I also noticed that the focus had gone from providing quality content to rolling out posts. I am not exactly very happy with all the posts but I think they would work just fine. Up goes the quantity, down goes the quality. It is a very simple rule.
Will I be doing this again? I don’t think so. I would be striving to provide much more quality and insightful content on the site.
Pheww… I made it through !

I am of the strong opinion that the annual gitex is over rated. I understand you get discounts and stuff but I have found the market rates to be almost the same. I mean, I never buy my mobiles or laptops from big stores like E-max or Sharaf DG because the items there are always over priced. I have managed to get the same items for at least 20% cheaper in market.
You need to know where to buy what in Dubai. I buy my mobile from Mobile round about in Sharjah. I have always got the best rate in market from there. I buy my laptops from Bur Dubai. So on.
That is why I would like to point out, all big electronics store are always more expensive than the market. So don’t be duped.
